Our family gathered on the Golan for a private celebration at the Gilabun Farm Restaurant near Katzrin. We arrived after a long hike, just after they opened, but that was no problem for the staff. Cold drinks were served immediately. We were starved – but before we could say Jiminy Cricket – the main course of mixed barbeque platters was served right off the grill on lovely antique style plate warmers. The table was loaded with farm bread, a variety of salads and spreads. More than we could consume. The espresso served before we left was perfect to keep me awake while driving.

The Gilabun Farm Restaurant specializes in meat delicacies and in many dishes that are served with love, in the spirit of the Wild West and the Golan.
