This Lido Beach restaurant in Tiberias used to be the Pièce de Résistance of restaurants in northern Israel. But times have changed and it has diminished to the level of “family restaurant” – good food, good price and children are welcome. This is a fine Kosher place for a family outing when on vacation. You can find what everyone in wants to eat, enjoy it and you can afford it, too (although we did leave a bundle paying for the entire family). Sit on the deck in the open air and take in the view. The Lido in Tiberias combines boats, restaurants, nature and history with stunning views of the Kinneret and Golan Heights.
Steaks are the specialty of the house however the portions are rather small. Even so the quantity of side dishes is enormous and quality is fine. Another incentive is that here you can mix your order from the menu to fit every age and every pocket.
Generally speaking the whole place needs some renovation, at least a paint job. Also look out for the gigantic dogs that guard the toilets. They don’t bite.

- Sunday – Thursday from 12:00 pm until the last customer.
- Friday – 12:00 pm to the start of the Sabbath.
- Saturday – from the end of the Sabbath until 11:30 pm
