Tabgha – the home of the Church of the Multification of the Loaves and the Fish
The 4th-century nun Egeria wrote about the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish: “In fact the stone on which the Lord placed the bread has now been made into an altar. People who go there take away small pieces of the stone to bring them prosperity, and they are very effective.”
Note the interesting tourist souvenirs at Tabgha.

Church of the Primacy of St. Peter

Church of the Primacy of St. Peter is just north of the Church of the Multiplication on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Egeria, the 4th Century pilgrim wrote, “Not far away from there (Capernaum) are some stone steps where the Lord stood.” The six heart-shaped stones on the beach of Lake Kinneret, each accommodating two persons, are called the “thrones of the apostles”. They were segments of a pillar at the corner of a basilica.
