Every visitor to Israel must include an Arab market in his or her itinerary. The vivid colors and enticing  fragrances are unforgetable. For those of us used to malls and supermarkets strolling in an Arab market in Israel is a lesson in sociology and history. Take a peek at my visit in Akko a mixed Arab and Jewish city with hidden crusader attractions.

Akko is a port on the Mediterranean Sea coast, easily reached from your hotel in Haifa. Did I say seafood?
